About the Event

Join Conservation Manager Jaime Hendrickson and Bobbie Soto, a 8th-generation descendant of the Anza Expedition and author of An Old California Family: The Sotos of Cambria, for a guided walk along the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail.


In a casual walk-and-talk setting, participants will learn about the Anza Expedition and hear stories of an early California family. All ages are welcome.


Description: A 1-mile loop hike on dirt roads and uneven sandy trails


At the conclusion of the event, participants will have the opportunity to stamp their National Parks Passport books with the official Anza stamp.

 

*Remember to appropriate shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. There is no water or restroom facilities at the site.
