About the Event
Join local Audubon field trip leader Roger Zachary for a walk along the section of the de Anza Trail on Atascadero Mutual Water Company property. We will be birding in mixed-oak woodland and riparian areas along the Salinas River. We should be able to identify approximately 40-50 bird species. It is an easy walk of about 2 miles. The walk starts at the de Anza Horse arena parking lot on North Ferrocarril Rd. Space is limited, and reservations are required.
