About the Event
Community volunteers are invited to join us for the 29th Annual Atascadero Creek and River Clean-up on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. This year's event will kick off at the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trailhead, located at 6805 Sycamore Road (please note our new meeting location this year!)
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with clean-up activities starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers are encouraged to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, bring work gloves, a refillable water bottle, and a small backpack to carry personal items. Water, refreshments, snacks, and lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
Together, we'll help remove litter and debris from Atascadero Creek and sections of the Salinas River. These waterways play an important role in recharging Atascadero's groundwater, and keeping them clean helps protect our local water supply and the environment. Bring your family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers and spend a rewarding morning giving back…
