Meter Adjust Fee

Residential Meter Upgrade
From 5/8 inch to 3/4 inch : $325.00 plus the difference in the connection fees of the two meters.
From 5/8 inch to 1 inch: $325.00 plus the difference in the connection fees of the two meters

Meter Downgrade
There is no charge to downgrade to a smaller size meter.
When a meter is downgraded, the difference in the connection fee is lost.
If a customer decides to go back to a larger meter after downgrading, the difference in the connections fees between the two meters is to be paid.
In addition, an upgrade fee of $325.00 will be charged to increase from a 5/8" meter to a 3/4 inch or 1 inch meter. The fee to upgrade to a meter that is larger than 1 inch will be based on the time and materials.
High Usage Adjustment
Recalculation of the bill, including the regular charges for water used up to the average amount used for the same time period, charging 44 cents per thousand gallons for any usage above average use.
